Itinerary Details:

Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival into Nairobi airport you will be met and briefed on your safari before being transferred to our hotel in the Karen suburbs.

Day 2: Meru National Park

Depart Nairobi after breakfast in your hotel for a long journey. Drive through the farmlands of Central Kenya to Meru National Park where you will arrive in time for lunch and check-in. After enjoying your lunch, relax in the lodge until later in the afternoon where you’ll head out for your afternoon game drive searching for wildlife and birdlife in this park returning to the lodge by 1800hours for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Meru National Park

After early morning breakfast, you will have a full day at Meru National Park with game drives at 0630hours and 1600hours respectively. You will have a chance to see all the Big Five Animals which include Lions, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo. You will also have a chance to spot; Bushbuck, Eland, Duiker, Elephant, Gazelle, Giraffe, Genet, Hartebeest, Kudu, Impala, Waterbuck, Baboons, Jackal, Hyena, Kudu, Oryx, Mongoose, Oribis, Vervet Monkeys, and Warthogs. In addition, you may spot the Wild dog, Caracal, Bush baby, Cheetah, Dik-dik, Civet, Bush pig, Otter, Porcupine, and Black and White Rhino.

Days 4: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After morning breakfast, checkout of your lodge and depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Arrive in time for lunch and check in at your lodge where you’re booked on full board basis. Enjoy your lunch and later depart for Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps, and the specially protected and fenced refuge of black rhino with its stunning forty specimens! In fact Ol Pejeta boasts excellent game viewing with the highest ratio of game to area of any park or reserve in Kenya. Return to your camp later in the evening for overnight stay

Days 5: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

This day is dedicated to the full exploration of the exotic Ol Pejeta Conservancy on two extensive game runs (morning and evening game drive). The Conservancy boasts an astounding variety of animals including all the “Big Five” (the endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and lion). The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience.

Days 6: Lake Naivasha

Do an early morning game drive; return to the camp for full breakfast. Thereafter; leave for Lake Naivasha via Thompsons falls to arrive at your lodge at Naivasha in good time for lunch and rest. Head out on an afternoon boat ride at the lake to see the gigantic hippos of Lake Naivasha as you proceed to Crescent Island where you can do nature walk. Return later to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay

Days 7: Masai Mara National Reserve

Depart early in the morning for the Masai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch, then go on a game drive in the afternoon. The Mara remains one of the few places on the planet where wildlife can be found in the numbers that once roamed Africa’s plains and forests. The Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras, and attendant predators as the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem.

Days 8: Masai Mara National Reserve

Today you will spend the entire day on safari in the Masai Mara, which has some of the best game viewing in Africa. If you want a longer day of game viewing, you can enjoy private morning and afternoon game drives from your camp, as well as breakfast or lunch in the bush.

Days 9: Departure

Before breakfast, you will go on an early morning game drive. This pre-breakfast game drive provides excellent opportunities to see Big Cats hunting or sharing a kill. At this hour, some elusive animals, such as the leopard, may be seen. You return to the lodge for breakfast before departing for Nairobi, stopping for lunch at a designated restaurant. Drop off will be at the airport in time for your onward flight.
