Mugie Dam is Kenya’s third largest private dam, covering 156 acres. Kayaking on the dam is an excellent way to get a fresh view on the wildlife.
During the hottest months, it is common to observe wildlife flocking to the lake, while during the dry months, elephants can be seen swimming often. Kayaking early in the morning or late in the afternoon is incredibly relaxing as you take in the views, sounds, and scents of the water level. Fishing for catfish, tilapia, and some black bass is fun.
