Karisia Walking Safaris is a popular, family-run activity located in a small rural area of Northern Laikipia that particularly specializes in camel walks, which range from easy day treks from camp to long-established, multi-point, prolonged camel excursions, owing to the recently updated ‘basecamp’ in Tumaren Camp, which offers a high degree of comfort and luxury in the most environmentally friendly way possible.

Karisia pays for food for all 574 children in their local school as well, many of whom would otherwise go through the day hungry.
