Lemek Conservancy is one of the best game viewing areas in Masai Mara, located on the game reserve’s northern sector and covering approximately 19,000 acres of land with the goal of maximizing the sustainability of the Mara eco system. The conservancy has a significant advantage in that game viewing can be done all year in open grassland savannahs with a few dotted trees that line the Mara River, attracting big cats such as Leopards who prefer to be on trees. During the annual wildebeest migration, wildlife is abundant. Night game drives, off-road game viewing, nature walks, and cultural or community tours are all available at the conservancy.
