Saruni Wild
One of Kenya’s smallest and most intimate safari camps
Saruni Wild offers direct access to some of the richest wildlife habitats in the Maasai Mara ecosystem. The camp’s strategic location allows guests to witness the extraordinary Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes cross the plains in search of greener pastures. This seasonal spectacle attracts an array of predators, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, offering thrilling game-viewing opportunities.
Beyond the migration season, the conservancy remains a wildlife haven throughout the year. Guests can embark on guided game drives, bush walks, and night safaris led by expert Maasai guides who share a deep knowledge of the local flora and fauna. The relatively low tourist density in the Lemek Conservancy ensures a more exclusive and immersive safari experience, away from the crowds commonly found in other parts of the Maasai Mara.
Exclusive and Luxurious Accommodation
Saruni Wild’s commitment to providing a personal and intimate safari experience is evident in its limited yet luxurious accommodation. The camp consists of only three beautifully designed tents, blending seamlessly into the surrounding wilderness while offering modern comforts and breathtaking views.
Standard Tents
Two of the tents at Saruni Wild are designed for couples or solo travelers looking for an exclusive safari retreat. Each tent features a spacious interior with large, comfortable beds draped in fine linen, ensuring a restful sleep amid the sounds of nature. Guests can enjoy the convenience of an en-suite bathroom with a flushing toilet and hot showers—luxuries rarely found in remote safari locations. The tents also include a private patio, providing uninterrupted views of the stunning Yaile Mountains, where guests can relax and soak in the beauty of the African wilderness.
Family Tent
The third tent is a larger family unit, perfect for groups or families traveling together. This spacious accommodation can comfortably house up to four adults and features two separate en-suite bathrooms, ensuring privacy and convenience. Like the standard tents, the family tent is equipped with modern amenities, comfortable bedding, and a scenic outdoor seating area where guests can unwind while observing the wildlife that frequently roams near the camp.
