Itinerary Details:
Day 1: Nairobi
On arrival into Nairobi airport you will be met and briefed on your safari before being transferred to our hotel in the Karen suburbs.

Day 2: Fly to Mugie Conservancy (Laikipia)
Our driver will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel and transport you to Wilson Airport, where you will board a Governors’ Aviation trip to Mugie Conservancy, located in Kenya’s Laikipia highlands. A 20-minute ride will take you to Governors’ Mugie House, where a sumptuous meal will be waiting for you. You can either go on your first afternoon game drive and explore this magnificent wilderness teeming with wildlife, lounge by the pool, or take a siesta, depending on your mood. Mugie offers pre-dinner cocktails by the fire, supper, and overnight accommodations.
Day 3-4: Mugie Conservancy (Laikipia)
Traditional game drives, bush walks, bush lunches, and fishing on the Mugie Dam are just a few of the activities available at Mugie Conservancy to appreciate the natural terrain and rich wildlife.
The Conservancy also runs a low-impact cow ranch and serves as a catalyst for local conservation efforts. Take a glimpse behind the scenes at conservation efforts, including the Anti-Poaching Unit and its crew of bloodhound sniffer dogs.
Join one of the team members on a hunt for the Big Cats and learn about the work being done to reduce human-wildlife conflict.
If you’re lucky, you might meet Tala, the amiable resident Reticulated Giraffe who roams the conservancy freely.
End each day with a stunning sundowner from one of the conservancy’s many viewing points.

Day 5: Masai Mara National Park
After breakfast, fly directly from Mugie Conservancy to the Masai Mara Game Reserve with Governors’ Aviation, where you will be met and transferred to your preferred Governors’ accommodation (select from Governors’ Camp, Little Governors’, or Il Moran). Before an al fresco lunch overlooking the Mara River (or marsh in the case of Little Governors’), have a brief game drive en way to the camp. Embark on a thrilling afternoon game drive at around 3:30pm and return in the dusk for drinks and chatter around the campfire, before your dinner. Fall asleep to the night-time chorus of the Masai Mara!
Day 6-7: Masai Mara
Each morning, get up early to make the most of your stunning location. Three game drives will be available each day within the Mara Game Reserve, allowing you to immerse yourself in this unique wildlife area.
Enjoy a fantastic flight in a hot air balloon over the Masai Mara grasslands with Governors’ Balloon Safaris (please note that this is an added cost), concluding with a delicious cooked breakfast, replete with bubbles, wherever you land!

Accommodation:
Days 8: Departure
Enjoy a final early morning game drive, followed by breakfast in camp before heading to the airstrip in time for your Governors’ Aviation flight back to Wilson Airport in Nairobi. Meet and greet thereafter transfer to JKIA, connect flight home.
