Our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or place of residence in Nairobi then embark on a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park. Arrive for lunch at the lodge, at the foot of the magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro which dominates everything in sight. Spectacular scenery. See the amazing wildlife, particularly the elephants, during the afternoon game drive before returning to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

You will be taken on two game drives today, one in the morning from 6.15 am to 9 am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals at their most active. As your safari is private, your game drive timings are flexible, and convenient if traveling with children or if on a honeymoon when you perhaps want to lie in longer on some of the days. You may also choose to have a full-day game drive [one for the whole day] with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Depart after breakfast for Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake that is a popular tourist spot in Kenya for locals and foreigners alike. Arrive in time for lunch. Rest of the day at leisure – the lodge we booked at the lake offers beautiful natural spaces where you can see numerous bird species among the trees as well as spot some animals ranging from waterbuck to warthogs. You may also choose to book a one-hour Lake Boat Safari at extra cost during which you get to see some of the lake’s wildlife such as hippos as well as enjoy the picturesque views of the lake and surrounding highland landscapes.

After an early breakfast, the safari now heads to Masai Mara. Arrive at your camp in Masai Mara for a leisurely lunch. Your afternoon game drive starts at 3.30pm, allowing spotting of the amazing wildlife in the reserve ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Our Driver-Guide will try his best to show you not just the ”Big Five” animals but the ”Big Nine” as well. Return to your tented camp by 6.30pm.

Arise early for a 6.30 am game drive which will conclude your Safari tour. Following breakfast and check out, you now head back to Nairobi with brief stops along the way at the Rift Valley Escarpment. Arrive in Nairobi 3 hours later. Onward drop-off transfer to the JKIA international airport for your flight home or drop off at your overnight hotel.

It was fantastic, from the time we booked to each part of the holiday, we are very lucky to spot all of the Big Five. The transport between each location was handled by Paul who were friendly and lovely to spend time with. The locations were fabulous, the highlight being Masai Mara Game Reserve!

All our pre booked excursions were top class. The highlight being our pre-dawn hot air balloon safari. Can be cold due to morning chill but worth it. Hotel adequate and food was great. Stayed in luxury tented camp, exactly what we wanted, a deep connection with nature. The visit to Maasai Village was fantastic for the kids. Overall expensive but a great experience.
