Naboisho Camp
A fantastic blend of raw bush and luxurious home comforts
Naboisho Camp is committed to sustainability and responsible tourism. The entire camp is powered by solar energy, ensuring minimal environmental impact while providing modern conveniences. This solar power system allows guests to charge their devices at any time, making it easier to capture and share their incredible safari experiences without disrupting the pristine natural environment.
Beyond solar energy, the camp’s eco-friendly practices extend to waste management, water conservation, and wildlife protection efforts. By staying at Naboisho Camp, guests contribute to the preservation of the Naboisho Conservancy, which is home to an array of diverse wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and numerous bird species. The conservancy operates under a community-based conservation model, ensuring that local communities benefit from tourism while protecting the region’s natural beauty.
Accommodation at Naboisho Camp
Naboisho Camp boasts a total of eleven well-appointed tents, including nine identical spacious tents and two expansive family tents. These tents are designed to reflect the ambiance of a contemporary country house, combining modern comfort with a rustic charm that blends seamlessly with the surrounding wilderness.
Each tent is built on a solid concrete plinth, providing a stable and secure base while enhancing durability. The open-air bathrooms are designed with natural stone walling, offering a unique and refreshing bathing experience under the African sky. The use of extensive decking, wooden pillars, and traditional makuti roof tiles adds to the camp’s natural aesthetic, ensuring that guests feel at home in this picturesque environment.
Stylish furnishings elevate the comfort and elegance of each tent. A pair of softly cushioned wicker chairs and a daybed are thoughtfully placed in the vestibule at the front of each tent, providing the perfect spot to relax and take in the stunning scenery. Whether guests choose to lounge with a book, enjoy a cup of tea, or simply soak in the sights and sounds of the bush, every detail is designed for comfort and tranquility.
