Elewana Sand River Camp
Sprawled out along the secluded overgrown riverbanks of the Sand River
Elewana Sand River Camp is positioned on the north bank of the Sand River, the camp provides a front-row seat to the dramatic river crossings of wildebeests and zebras during the Great Migration. As the seasons change, vast herds traverse the region in search of lush grazing lands, creating a thrilling spectacle for visitors. Even outside the migration period, the Masai Mara teems with resident wildlife, including elephants, leopards, and cheetahs, ensuring an unforgettable safari experience at any time of the year.
Elegant and Spacious Accommodations
Elewana Sand River Camp features 16 exquisitely designed guest tents, offering a blend of classic safari charm and modern luxury. Each tent is carefully positioned within the bush, ensuring privacy and serenity while allowing guests to feel immersed in the natural surroundings. The accommodations are divided into two distinct sections: one with seven tents and the other with nine.
For families, the camp offers a specially designed family tent, providing ample space and comfort. The tents are beautifully furnished with vintage-style décor, evoking the romance of early 20th-century safaris. Guests can relax in their private verandas, enjoying spectacular views of the river and the wildlife that frequently roams nearby.
