A stunning, rocky environment
Home » Destinations » National Parks »
Tsavo West National Park is particularly known for its landscapes, which range from savannah grasslands to rocky hills and volcanic cones. Visitors can explore the park by foot, taking guided tours and game drives, or by visiting the Mzima Springs, an oasis in the park where Hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of fish can be observed. The park also offers guided walks and cultural visits to the local Chyulu and Kamba communities. Tsavo West National Park is part of the Tsavo Conservation Area, together with Tsavo East National Park, making it one of the largest protected areas in Kenya.
