Day 2: Fly to Tsavo West Game Park

After breakfast you’re driven to Wilson Airport for your flight to Tsavo West Game Park. Here you’ll be met by your guide from Finch Hattons. Finch Hattons is an elegant tented camp overlooking a spring-fed waterhole. Take time to settle into your suite, then embark on an afternoon game drive through pristine wilderness of Tsavo West.

Day 3: Tsavo West Game Park

Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Tsavo National Park, which is known for its red-hued elephants, colored by a fine coating of the park’s red dust. Guided game drives give you the chance to see these elephant herds along with lion, leopard, buffalo and other big game. Over 500 species of bird have been recorded, and between drives it’s wonderfully relaxing sitting on your private deck watching birds flit through the trees, and hippo and crocodile down at the camp waterhole. Another Hattons highlight is sunset drinks out in the bush, looking across towards Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Day 4: Fly to Mara North Conservancy

Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Masai Mara, which departs at 09:35 a.m. and arrives at 1100 a.m. Upon arriving in Masai Mara, you will be met and transferred to your Camp in the Camp’s shared vehicle. The rest of the program will follow the Camp’s timetable.

Day 5-6: Mara North Conservancy (2 Nights)

Enjoy two days of game viewing with Morning & afternoon game drives in this spectacular game reserve, all with superb photographic opportunities. Apart from the seasonal migration, game viewing is excellent year round. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Game includes: – elephant, Black Rhino, buffalo, wildebeest, Burchell’s zebra, hartebeest, various antelope and gazelle, lion, leopard, giraffe, cheetah, hippo, crocodile and much more.
