Central Island National Park is a protected area located in the middle of Lake Turkana in Kenya. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including crocodiles, hippos, and over 450 species of birds. The island is also known for its unique geology and is a popular spot for geologists and scientists to study the volcanic rocks and ash layers that make up the island. There are no facilities for visitors on the island and it’s only accessible by boat, making it a remote and exclusive destination for adventure and wilderness seeking travelers.
