Itinerary Details:

Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival into Nairobi airport you will be met and briefed on your safari before being transferred to our hotel in the Karen suburbs.

Day 2: Kigio Conservancy

After breakfast depart for Kigio Conservancy. This Conservancy is famous as the home to Impala, Buffalos, Dik Dik, Zebras, and Waterbuck and also provides sanctuary for Rothschild giraffe. Enjoy your lunch at the Kigio Wildlife Camp. Later in the afternoon you will have a lecture on conservation efforts at the Kigio Wildlife Conservancy to ensure protection of nature. Take a nature walk in the conservation area. Evening game drive will be conducted at the conservancy.

Day 3: Kigio Conservancy

Kigio Wildlife Conservancy is where you’ll spend the entire day. You’ll go on a nature walk to learn more about the reserve. The local naturalist will be delighted to share his extensive knowledge of the area’s fauna and flora with you. After that, pay a visit to one of the nearby communities. Kigio Wildlife Camp has been at the forefront of supporting the local community as a means of ensuring the area’s long-term tourism viability. Return to your Return to your camp.

Days 4: Mara Siana Conservancy

After breakfast drive west down the scenic Rift Valley past the township of Narok in the Masai country onward to Mara Siana Conservancy. TThe conservancy’s lands provide an abundant buffer zone that is alive with wildlife in this active wildlife region. Visitors will see buffaloes, giraffes, gazelles, zebras, topis, dik-diks, elands, and a plethora of other grazers. You will arrive at your camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon you go on a game drive that will last until sunset.

Days 5: Mara Siana Conservancy

The search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues today during extensive morning and afternoon game drive. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. You will also visit a Masai village and glimpse life so ancient and yet so enduring that it astonishes. The true pinnacle of your journey to the Mara however will be Bush Sundowners—a civilized cocktail party staged in the untamed wilds of Africa.

Days 6: Departure

After breakfast, travel to Nairobi for lunch at The Carnivore Restaurant. Transfer to your city center hotel or Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your return trip home.
