Climbing Mount Kenya

Sirimon – Chogoria Route

5 Days from $ 770 / person

Home » Tours & Safaris » Climbing Mount Kenya
This trek incorporates two of Mt Kenya’s most picturesque paths. Ascending is on the mountain’s dry side, which has some of the best walking. Climb through the woodland to a broad ridge that leads to the summit area. The trail begins on the mountain’s northwest slope, near Nanyuki. The bunk house amenities are the best on this side of the mountain, and the access is adequate.

Itinerary highlights:

1. Climb Point Lenana, the highest trekking peak on Mount Kenya.
2. Ascend via the quieter and most dramatic Chogoria route
3. Traverse the mountain from East to North via the Chogoria and Sirimon routes.

Price includes:

  • In-destination transfers
  • Activities and excursions as detailed
  • All accommodation
  • 24-hour support while you travel
