Itinerary Details:

Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival into Nairobi airport you will be met and briefed on your safari before being transferred to our hotel in the Karen suburbs.

Days 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Depart Nairobi after breakfast in your hotel for a long journey. Drive through the scenic view of Kenyan highlands, changing gradually to semi-desert region as you cross the equator where you can have a stop and have a photo shoot before continuing with your drive where you will arrive at Ol Pajeta Conservancy early in the afternoon and check in at your lodge. Enjoy your lunch and later depart for Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps, and the specially protected and fenced refuge of black rhino with its stunning forty specimens! In fact Ol Pejeta boasts excellent game viewing with the highest ratio of game to area of any park or reserve in Kenya. Return to your lodge later in the evening for overnight stay

Days 3: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

This day is dedicated on full exploration of the exotic Ol Pejeta Sweetwaters Conservancy on two extensive game runs (morning and evening game drive). The Conservancy boasts an astounding variety of animals including all the “Big Five” (the endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion). The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience.

Days 4: Ol Jogi Conservancy

After enjoying your morning breakfast, depart for Ol Jogi Conservancy, where you will begin your day’s guided walking safari hike, where you may see exotic species such as black rhinos, grevy zebras, and baboons, among others. Transfer to your lodge at 1230 hours, where you will check in and have lunch. Later in the afternoon, pay a visit to the Ol Jogi Conservancy’s Wildlife Rescue Center and Veterinary Clinic, which was developed to care for and rehabilitate injured wildlife.

Days 5: Lewa Conservancy

Depart for Lewa Wildlife Conservancy where you shall kick off to the day’s game drive; Where you might spot wild animals such as Elephants, Buffaloes, Cheetah, Eland, Lion, Waterbucks, reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk among others. Birds species likely to be spotted include; Vulturine Guineafowl, Starling, Goshawk, Sunbird, Bee-eater among others not forgetting acacia trees and cactus that are well manifested in the conservancy. At 1230hrs transfer to your lodge where you will check in and enjoy your lunch. later, in the afternoon head out for another game drive.

Day 6: Meru National Park

Depart Lewa Conservancy after breakfast in your hotel for Meru Game Park where you will arrive in mid morning and check in. Relax in the lodge until later in the afternoon where you’ll head out for your afternoon game drive searching for wildlife and birdlife in this park returning to the lodge by 1800hours for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Meru National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will have a full day at Meru Game Park with game drives at 0630hours and 1600hours respectively. You will have a chance to see all the Big Five Animals which include Lions, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo. You will also have a chance to spot; Bushbuck, Eland, Duiker, Elephant, Gazelle, Giraffe, Genet, Hartebeest, Kudu, Impala, Waterbuck, Baboons, Jackal, Hyena, Kudu, Oryx, Mongoose, Oribis, Vervet Monkeys and Warthogs. In addition you may spot Wild dog, Caracal, Bush baby, Cheetah, Dik-dik, Civet, Bush pig, Otter, Porcupine, and Black and White Rhino.

Hotel Options in Meru:

Days 8: Departure

Before breakfast, you will go on an early morning game drive. This pre-breakfast game drive provides excellent opportunities to see Big Cats hunting or sharing a kill. At this hour, some elusive animals, such as the leopard, may be seen. You return to the lodge for breakfast before departing for Nairobi, stopping for lunch at a designated restaurant. Drop off will be at the airport in time for your onward flight.
