Hunting scenes are made by lions, hyenas, and many other carnivores. Enjoy a memorable day trip to Amboseli National Park, starting from Nairobi at 6:00 AM for a scenic drive that will take approximately 4 hours. On your way to the park, you will be enjoying breathtaking views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro snow-capped peaks rising above the clouds—just a perfect setting for your safari adventure.
Once you drive into Amboseli National Park, you begin viewing some of the world-renovated wildlife and landscapes. Having the highest percentage of free-ranging elephants, it is home to lots of other wild animals like lion, buffalo, leopard, giraffe, wildebeest, gazelle, topi, spotted hyena, zebra, cheetah, and many more. Extremely rare sights such as serval cats, caracal, and aardwolf roam freely in the park’s wilderness area; so does the African wild dog though rarely visiting here for this mammal.
During your safari drive, you’ll have the opportunity to visit Observation Hill, offering panoramic views of the park’s vast plains, swamps, and sprawling herds of elephants. It’s the perfect spot to soak in the beauty of Amboseli’s diverse ecosystems and watch wildlife in their natural habitat.
Next, be immersed in the culture of the Maasai by visiting one of the traditional Maasai villages within the boundaries of the park. Here, you can learn all about the lifestyle and traditions of indigenous Maasai people and also understand the link they have built with the local environment.

It was fantastic, from the time we booked to each part of the holiday, we are very lucky to spot all of the Big Five. The transport between each location was handled by Paul who were friendly and lovely to spend time with. The locations were fabulous, the highlight being Masai Mara Game Reserve!

All our pre booked excursions were top class. The highlight being our pre-dawn hot air balloon safari. Can be cold due to morning chill but worth it. Hotel adequate and food was great. Stayed in luxury tented camp, exactly what we wanted, a deep connection with nature. The visit to Maasai Village was fantastic for the kids. Overall expensive but a great experience.
