Our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or place of residence in Nairobi then embark on a scenic drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, world famous for its wildlife conservation efforts and for its collection of amazing wildlife which includes the only place in Kenya and most of East Africa where one can spot Chimpanzee in environments close to their native forests. Arrive at your Camp late morning, for check-in after which you enjoy a sumptuous lunch. At 3 pm embark on an adventure-filled safari game drive inside Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

You will be taken on two game drives today, one in the morning from 6.15 am to 9 am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm including a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals at their most active. As your safari is private, your game drive timings are flexible and convenient if traveling with children or on a honeymoon when you perhaps want to lie in longer on some days.
Return to the camp by dusk at 6 pm for dinner and overnight.Meal Plan:

Depart after breakfast for the scenic Lake Nakuru National Park, a bird and rhino sanctuary, and home to a variety of wildlife. This lake is famous for its pink flamingoes. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. A late afternoon game drive will allow you to see the park’s rich, diverse wildlife. You will also be taken to a cliff view point overlooking the lake.

After an early morning game drive and a relaxed breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake that is a popular tourist spot in Kenya for locals and foreigners alike. Arrive in time for lunch. Rest of the day at leisure – the lodge we booked at the lake offers beautiful natural spaces where you can see numerous bird species among the trees as well as spot some animals ranging from waterbuck to warthogs. You may also choose to book a one-hour Lake Boat Safari at extra cost during which you get to see some of the lake’s wildlife such as hippos as well as enjoy the picturesque views of the lake and surrounding highland landscapes.

After an early breakfast, the safari now heads to Masai Mara. Arrive at your camp in Masai Mara for a leisurely lunch. Your afternoon game drive starts at 3.30pm, allowing spotting of the amazing wildlife in the reserve ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Our Driver-Guide will try his best to show you not just the ”Big Five” animals but the ”Big Nine” as well. Return to your tented camp by 6.30pm.

Arise early for a 6.30 am game drive which will conclude your Safari tour. Following breakfast and check out, you now head back to Nairobi with brief stops along the way at the Rift Valley Escarpment. Arrive in Nairobi 3 hours later. Onward drop-off transfer to the JKIA international airport for your flight home or drop off at your overnight hotel.

All our pre booked excursions were top class. The highlight being our pre-dawn hot air balloon safari. Can be cold due to morning chill but worth it. Hotel adequate and food was great. Stayed in luxury tented camp, exactly what we wanted, a deep connection with nature. The visit to Maasai Village was fantastic for the kids. Overall expensive but a great experience.
