Lentorre Lodge

A spectacular and remote location on the lower slopes of the Great Rift Valley

Lentorre Lodge is a hidden gem that offers a unique and exclusive safari experience. This remote and spectacular destination is on a ridge at the foot of the escarpment within the 25,000-hectare Olkirimatian Conservancy. The local Maasai community owns and manages the conservancy, ensuring an authentic cultural and wildlife experience. With breathtaking views of Shompole Mountain and proximity to the strikingly alkaline Lakes Magadi and Natron, Lentorre Lodge is a haven for nature lovers, adventure seekers, and those looking to unwind in pristine surroundings.

Exclusive Accommodation

Lentorre Lodge provides an intimate and luxurious stay with only six villas, ensuring personalized service and a peaceful atmosphere. Each villa is crafted from wood, canvas, and thatch, blending seamlessly into the natural landscape. The open-sided design not only allows guests to immerse themselves in the breathtaking scenery but also ensures a constant flow of refreshing breezes.

Villa Features

  • Private Plunge Pools: Each villa boasts a private plunge pool on its deck, offering a perfect spot to relax while enjoying panoramic views.

  • Spacious Layouts: Two of the villas are designed for families, featuring two bedrooms and a central lounge area. One family villa includes an upstairs children’s bedroom, while the other keeps both bedrooms on the same level for convenience.

  • En-suite Bathrooms: Every villa includes a private en-suite bathroom equipped with modern amenities to enhance comfort.

  • Ceiling Fans: Positioned over the beds to ensure a cool and restful night’s sleep, particularly in warmer months.

  • Breathtaking Views: The open design and positioning of the villas provide uninterrupted vistas of the surrounding wilderness.

The Main Lodges

Lentorre Lodge is divided into two main buildings, each offering unique advantages:

Upper Lodge

Perched higher up the hill, the upper lodge provides sweeping views of the conservancy and surrounding landscapes. This area features a well-stocked bar and an elegant dining space where guests can enjoy gourmet meals while taking in the spectacular scenery.

Lower Lodge

Situated closer to the waterhole, the lower lodge offers an immersive wildlife experience. This section of the lodge also houses the air-conditioned sunken hide—a perfect spot for wildlife observation, photography, and quiet reflection as animals gather at the waterhole.
