Porini Lion Camp is situated on the banks of the seasonal Masai Mara Ntiakatiak River within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy in a one-of-a-kind and breathtaking setting. This vast area, which borders the Maasai Mara National Reserve, is home to a plethora of animals, including the Mara’s renowned Big Cats. Because of the Conservancy’s unspoiled natural state, game viewing is unrivaled, and the Porini Lion Camp, with only ten tents, ensures guests have a genuine “away from it all” experience deep in the African bush.
Accommodation:
Porini Lion Camp is a traditionally styled, tented eco-camp that adheres to the principle that every element of a camp can be removed without leaving a trace of human incursion. All inorganic waste is returned to Nairobi. The camp has always been run by Maasai, many of whom have been there for many years, which is generally a good sign.
