Lewa House
Set on top of a hill with a panoramic view of the rolling landscape of the conservancy
Lewa House is set on top of a hill with expansive views over gently rolling hills, right in the heart of Kenya’s Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. It is bounded to the south by Mount Kenya, to the north by the rugged Mathews Range, and to the east by the sacred mountain of Ol Lolokwe.
Accommodation:
Lewa House’s accommodations are in the form of cottage-style rooms spread out along the hillside, all with views of the vast wilderness to the north. There are three original thatched family cottages (the house was originally a private home), each with two en-suite rooms and a large shared veranda. The four newly added single room cottages are built with sustainable, ecological principles in mind, while remaining exceptionally comfortable and spacious, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
