Il Ngwesi Eco-Lodge, which is owned and run by Kenya’s Laikipiak Maasai community, offers something truly unique. Visitors to the lodge get complete wildlife and cultural experience, as well as hospitality that is more akin to that of a close family member. It is the ultimate personal experience, with no other tourist facilities within the Group Ranch.
Accommodation:
The lodge consists of six double thatched bandas, remarkable open-plan structures on stilts, incorporating huge branches and open-air bathrooms. Two bandas have ‘star beds’ which can be pulled out on to decks under the night sky. Each cottage has a spacious bedroom, a private verandah and a spacious open-air bathroom.
