Barnleys Guest House is a family-run homestead that offers a peaceful setting in lush gardens ideal for vacationers, backpackers, and those passing through. The house has two main rooms that look out onto a large lawn. Mt Elgon Game Park, with caves and hiking, is practically on the doorstep, as is Saiwa swamp, which is best visited at daybreak when it is wreathed in mist and easiest to spot the Sitatunga antelope.
Accommodation:
There are two rooms available in the house: a twin and a larger room that can accommodate two extra beds for children. Along the corridor is a small bathroom stacked with copies of The Week. They are decorated in a bright, farmhouse style. In addition, the guest house provides furnished tents in the garden.
