Lentorre Lodge
A spectacular and remote location on the lower slopes of the Great Rift Valley
Lentorre Lodge is situated on the lower slopes of the Great Rift Valley escarpment in southern Kenya, in a spectacular and remote location. The lodge is located on a ridge at the foot of the escarpment in the 25,000-hectare Olkirimatian Conservancy, which is owned by the local Masai community, not far from the intensely alkaline lakes Magadi and Natron and with views of Shompole Mountain in front.
Accommodation:
Lentorre Lodge has only six villas made of wood, canvas, and thatch. Two villas have two bedrooms and a central lounge for a family. One has a children’s bedroom upstairs, while the other is on the same level as the main bedroom. The villas have private plunge pools on their private decks, en-suite bathrooms, ceiling fans over the beds, and en-suite bathrooms. The open-sided design allows guests to take in the breathtaking views and a refreshing breeze. The lodges are divided into two main buildings, one of which is higher up the hill than the other. Both have a bar and dining areas, and while the upper lodge has spectacular views of the surrounding wilderness, the lower lodge is close to the waterhole and the air-conditioned sunken hide.
